Cabin Cat Adventures

One of Sugarbush's premier offerings, the Lincoln Limo cabin cat is fitted with a twelve-passenger luxury cabin equipped with a flat screen TV and cushy seats. Sugarbush was first-to-market in the eastern U.S. offering Cabin Cat adventures to complement our skiing and dining services.

First Tracks- Cabin Cat

There's truth in the old proverb "The early bird catches the worm." At Sugarbush, 12 passengers will ride the Lincoln Limo and experience pristine, deep powder or untouched corduroy as they cruise down the mountain before anyone else.

First Tracks tours leave from the base of Lincoln Peak, and get you to the best terrain before the lifts start spinning. Tours may go to the top of Heaven's Gate, the top of North Lynx, into the Slide Brook Wilderness Area or elsewhere, based on the judgement of the guide. First Tracks trips are available for advanced skiers and riders only. The number of runs depends on group speed and tour taken, with most groups getting three or more runs.

Powder-Day First Tracks: "When it's snowing, we're going," is the motto here. The decision will be made 2 days in advance and may be posted on the snow report if there's availability. Sign up on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lincoln Peak Guest Services desk.

Any-Day First Tracks: Put together a group of 8 or more and we'll take you up the hill for some early morning skiing and riding. Book at least 48-hours in advance through Guest Services.  Advance payment is required. No refunds.

Dates: "When it's snowing, we're going," and by private appointment. Tours meet at 6:45 AM at Lincoln Peak Guest Services.

Rates: Scheduled tours for $75 per person. Private group tours of up to twelve are available.

Pricing includes coffee and homemade granola bars.

Remote Fireside Dining at Allyn's Lodge

Ride our Cabin Cat to the top of Gadd Peak for a candlelit dinner featuring Vermont farm to table selections. We begin with a local cheese fondue and a complimentary glass of champagne. Three courses are served in front of the floor-to-ceiling fireplace, all with just the right blend of mountain charm and sophistication. Special wine and Vermont craft beer offerings are available for purchase. Following the dinner, guests have the option to ski or ride down under the moonlight taking in the commanding views, or descending down in the comfort of the cabin cat back to the base.  We finish the evening with dessert and coffee served in Timbers Restaurant located in the base area. (ski/ride down option dependent upon conditions).

Those wishing to make the strenuous hour and fifteen-minute skin or snowshoe trip up to Allyn's Lodge should meet their guide at 4:45 PM at Timbers Restaurant. Guests wishing to ride the cat meet at Timbers by 6 PM. Evening ends around 9:30/9:45 PM.
