Summary

Timbers Restaurant is looking to add a qualified bartender to our service team. Looking for a friendly, outgoing, guest focused bartender to work in our beautiful full service restaurant.

Responsibilities

Bartenders provide food and beverage service to Sugarbush guests in a competent, attentive and friendly manner. Bartenders are able to multitask with great skill and complete attention to detail: welcoming and informing diners, reading their needs and expectations, quickly and professionally serving their orders, and balancing the demands of multiple guests. Must also keep an awareness of safety related issues. Sugarbush prides itself in providing services that is honest and knowledgeable. Bartenders are expected to build/maintain a good knowledge of food/drink and food preparation as well as guest service skills.

Requirements

Must have knowledge of, or ability to learn, all applicable state laws, health and safety standards regarding food and beverage. Requires two years or more of prior bartending experience. Wine and beer knowledge is important. Craftbartending and mixology is a plus. A notable desire and ability to deliver excellent customer service is necessary. Requires ability to continually maintain a friendly disposition, even under great demand while being prompt and helpful. Must understand interests of all waitstaff and the restaurant as a whole; will provide appropriate teamwork and cooperation with a positive attitude. Dependability with timely and reliable attendance is a essential; must be available to work weekends, and holidays.
