Title: Lift Maintenance Manager
Type: Full Time Year Round
The Lift Maintenance Manager oversees all operations and lift maintenance activity of all mountain lift operations. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, 401k, and FREE access to our skiing, biking, golf and health club facilities!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the management of all lifts and lift systems both electrical and mechanical; hiring and development of Lift Maintenance staff; ensuring that all ANSI B.77 and Vermont Tramway standards are followed to keep our lift system safe and reliable; updating and maintaining the departmental data base system Mountain Office; planning and implementing capital improvement projects; overseeing all financial aspects of the department; ordering of all parts and accurate inventory management.
Minimum 5 years experience as a lift maintenance mechanic manager/supervisor; must have extensive knowledge in detachable and fixed grip lifts, low voltage and a full understanding of ANSI B.77 and Vermont Tramway standards. Strong organizational and leadership skills are required, as is the ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Must be able and willing to work as part of a team. Position requires the ability to climb and work at substantial heights and in all kinds of weather. Requires ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds. A valid driver's license and acceptable driver record is required. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
