Title: Housekeeping- On Call

Summary

In maintaining the high standards that our guests have come to expect, our housekeeping team is a critical component of Sugarbush Resort’s full-service lodging. We are now recruiting for On-Call Housekeepers with all work to be done primarily in a condominium setting. This highly flexible position has great earning potential as payment is based on tasks performed and units cleaned. On-Call housekeepers assist with our staff needs during busy periods; notice of 24 hours, or more, would be given and there is no obligation to work when called. Due to the nature of this position, a minimum of 10 shifts MUST be worked in per season to keep pass and resort discounts valid. Responsibilities

Our housekeeping vision is to provide courteous, quality housekeeping services and to ensure a sanitized, clean and welcoming environment. Efficient, detail-oriented individuals who take responsibility seriously and work well unsupervised are our ideal teammates. Essential functions are to clean privately owned condominiums in our rental program, as well as, Sugarbush Inn rooms and provide housekeeping services in a thorough and timely manner while responding effectively to guests needs. Attention to detail is a must, as candidates are also expected to report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and pass a background check. High school degree, or equivalency, and a minimum of 6 months prior experience are required; previous hospitality and/or janitorial experience preferred. Driver's license preferred. Appropriate candidates should be flexible enough to roll with resort business levels as activity ebbs and flows. Also must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Self-motivation and reliability are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly reach, stoop, and bend; must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional outside activity may require exposure to adverse weather conditions. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of cleaning chemicals with strong attention to safety is required.
