Title: Clay Brook Common Area Lead

Summary

In maintaining the high standards that our guests have come to expect, our housekeeping team is a critical component of Sugarbush Resort's full-service lodging. Clay Brook, our premier luxury slope-side residency, is looking for a Lead Common Area Attendant add to our team. Responsibilities

Our housekeeping vision is to provide housekeeping services that ensure a clean, courteous and welcoming environment. Efficient, detail-oriented individuals who take responsibility seriously and work well unsupervised are our ideal teammates. Essential functions are to assit with supervising, training and inspecting the work of the Common Area Attendants. Common Area Leads are expected to maintain logs and maintenance schedules on cleaning equipment, assist with oversight of short and long term projects and schedules for the Clay Brook building and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Common Area staff.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and pass a background check. High school diploma, or equivalency, and a minimum of 1-year prior experience are required with previous supervisory, or managerial, experience preferred. Janitorial experience and familiarity with extractors, steamers and burnishers are ideal. Candidates should be flexible enough to roll with resort business levels, as activity ebbs and flows and must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Self-motivation and reliability are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly reach, stoop, and bend; must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional outside activity may require exposure to adverse weather conditions. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of cleaning chemicals with strong attention to safety is required.
